May is lupus awareness month. Finding out I had lupus was one of the hardest times of my life. Lupus effects women and black minorities, more than any other race or ethnic group. I have been on this healing journey for some time now. Iām asking that you take a moment to do your own research, talk with someone who has lupus, and share the awareness. I have lupus but lupus does not have me. In January, I did a birthday shoot and my theme was butterflies. It represented my journey with lupus, healing, and transition to the next chapter 30. I want to send healing to anyone struggling with lupus, anyone who has lost anyone to lupus, and anyone supporting or is a caregiver to someone battling with lupus. Thank you all for the continued support.
